Our children have been in a wide range of learning experiences including not only continuing with understanding the life cycle of a frog but also chicks and as part of this process, one of our chicks sadly died and the children helped to bury it. Additionally, other children have been extending their knowledge about planets and space including the designing and building of rockets and furthermore, some children have been developing both their climbing skills and ability in creating a simple tally chart.

Welcome to our new website and indeed we hope all our parents/carers and indeed children had a wonderful spring break. Our children have been involved in a range of learning including: understanding what plants need to grow, measuring for a purpose; re-telling familiar stories, following a simple recipe and planning and designing which included children beginning to understand there are different sustainable energy sources! We wish you all a very happy St. George’s Day and wish you all a very happy and safe weekend.

It was lovely seeing the vast create range of Easter Bonnet’s created by the children with their parents/carers as well as with staff at the nursery. We wish you all a very happy and safe Easter break and look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 20th April.

During this week we have continued to support some of our children who have recently started at Wentworth to settle into the routine of school. Additionally, our two year old’s have been learning to follow instructions by making some pizzas. In the wider nursery, children have been developing their team skills in learning to play football as well as engage in their own self chosen play. Some children did notice we have now frogs in our pond, along with frog spawn as well as newts. All very exciting!
Our thanks to the parent/carers who attended our zoom session today on exploring more ways we can reach our community in letting them know about Wentworth. Equally thank you for your support towards Red Nose Day, we will inform all parents about how much money we raised on Monday. We wish you all a very happy and safe weekend.
