Learning Week ending Friday 5th November 2021

A warm welcome to all our parents/carers and children after the half-term break. We have had our children involved in a range of learning including understanding the roles of a doctor’s surgery, understanding the festival of Diwali and Guy Fawkes, exploring the concepts of push and pull, and lastly the re-telling of familiar stories. We also had a group of parents/carers and children participating in the re-naming of Cassland Gardens to Kit Crowley Gardens. Kit was an ex-member of staff at Wentworth Nursery School in the 1960s. My thanks to all the families who attended the workshop on promoting children’s talk, we will be sending out the slides to the presentation to all parents on Monday. We wish you all a very happy and safe weekend and of course a very happy Diwali to all our parents/carers and children who will be celebrating this festival. Best wishes,
